Dubs on Defrost - More Updates

So far we have the following sponsors:

We also have some food vendors coming
and a DJ

I am waiting for a Special Use License application form for permission to use Sherwood Isle State Park. Once the application is submitted and a decision is made by the Parks Dept. we can start making permanent arrangements and a flyer.

I am hoping we can hear back from the Parks Dept. and have a flyer ready by the 2nd week of January, so there will be time for submission to Eurotuner and PVW.

Dubs on Defrost Update

A quick update, Performance Motorworkz is going to be sponsoring DoD, and there will be other CT vendors on location. We will be having a raffle with prizes (some might be donated by the vendors) to fund next years DoD! More updates to come, stay tuned.

First Post - Dubs on Defrost

This blog is intended to document local/regional events in the Connecticut and New England Volkswagen community. This is sponsored by HatCityDubs, a Danbury, CT based European car club. Visit HCD's vwvortex.com thread.

Currently, the next event is going to be "Dubs on Defrost" in March/April which is hosted by HatCityDubs but is a collaboration between HCD, SoCo Dubs and CoCT Dubs. Expected attendance is 100+ cars! The exact date has yet to be confirmed, as we are waiting for a date confirmation from Yarrow Sport for their "Primer" event in Providence, RI. Dubs on Defrost is going to be the weekend prior to Primer and will be located in Southern CT.
